COSTUME COMPETITION
Traditionally, during the May Count festival, a bright costume contest is held on the main stage, in which both historical and fairy-tale costumes from different eras and cultures take part.
Participation in the "Modern Renaissance" competition is an opportunity for everyone to show their inspiration, imagination and talent, to show themselves in the most incredible and unique image created by their own hands, to receive prizes, deserved recognition from the public and the jury.
By submitting an application, the participant accepts the rules of the competition and undertakes to follow them.We recommend that you carefully read the rules:
COMPETITION NOMINATIONS
For self-made costumes:
1. The best children's carnival costume. Age category from 1 to 14 years.Categories: solo, group (2 or more participants)
2. Best fantasy costume Fairy tale characters, movie characters, fancy dress, anime characters, carnival masks and costumes. No gender or age restrictions.Categories: solo, group (2 or more participants)
3. The best stylization of historical costumeThe category includes costumes characteristic of the era from the 12th to the 19th centuries. No gender or age restrictions.Categories: solo, group (2 or more costumes)For rented or previously participated costumes
4. NON-COMPETITIVE NOMINATION "MASQUERADE" Any costumes of any theme are allowed, not declared in nominations 1-3., Incl. rental costumes that were not made by one's own hands, or costumes that participated in competitive nominations in previous years. No age restrictions. Online registration is not required, registration takes place on the day of the event at the information center until 13:00,1 prize is awarded at the choice of the jury.
